Usage

Flamazine (Silver Sulfadiazine) is a prescription medication that is used to help prevent and treat wound infections in patients with serious burns. Silver Sulfadiazine belongs to a class of drugs called sulfa antibiotics. This medication works by stopping the growth of bacteria that infects an open wound. It also helps by decreasing the risk of bacteria from spreading to surrounding skin, or to the blood which can cause a very serious blood infection.

• Pain, burning, itching of the treated skin;
• Skin and mucous membranes may become blue or grey in colour

• Signs of liver or kidney problems

Warnings and Interactions
