Allegra Details (Brand and Generic)

CanadaPharmacyOnline.com offers the brand Allegra from India, New Zealand and Canada by Sanofi Aventis. There is no generic version available. Our customers may also purchase EpiPen, Reactine and other Allergy medications.

Dosage

Allegra is available in the strength of 30 mg, 60 mg, and 120 mg tablets.

Usage

Allegra is an over the counter antihistamine used for the treatment of allergy symptoms, including seasonal and year-round allergies. This medication is also effective in managing itching skin and hives caused by chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children. Allegra is different to Allegra D, as Allegra D contains pseudoephedrine while Allegra does not. The active ingredient in Allegra is Fexofenadine, which is an antihistamine. Antihistamines work by reducing the amount of histamine in the body. Histamine is responsible for allergy symptoms such as itchy or watery eyes, sneezing and runny nose.

The most common Allegra side effects include:
• Drowsiness, tired feeling, headache;
