Product Details
Celestoderm (Betamethasone valerate) is an RX medication that is used to help relieve redness, itching, swelling, or other discomfort caused by skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, contact dermatitis and seborrhea. Betamethasone valerate works by reducing redness, inflammation, swelling and irritation of the skin.

Side Effects and Precautions
The common side effects of Celestoderm may include burning, dryness, irritation, itching or redness, skin rash, stinging sensation. The serious side effects may include:
• Blood vessels visible through the skin;
• Easy bruising;
• Increased skin sensitivity;
• Itchy rash with small red, raised bumps;
• Ongoing burning, itching or irritation of skin;
• Skin infection or discolouration

You should not use Celestoderm if you are allergic to Betamethasone valerate or if you have any other allergies. Before you start using this medication, talk to your doctor about your medical history and about all the medications you take including OTC and herbal medications. This medication should not be used during pregnancy unless it is clearly needed. If you get pregnant while using this medication, contact your doctor immediately. It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. There may be an interaction between Betamethasone valerate and other medications such as itraconazole, natalizumba, pimecrolimus, ritonavir, and tacrolimus.
