In addition, it has a high concentration of one type of iridoid, called harpagoside, relieving pain and inflammation.

Stop using Devils Claw and contact your doctor right away if you have any of the serious side effects such as:
• Changes in your menstrual cycle or flow;

• Your joint pain becomes swollen and associated with high-grade fever;
• Your symptoms worsen or do not improve after using this medication

Warnings and Interactions

Devil's Claw is herbal medicine and can be obtained over the counter without a prescription. You should not chew the Devils claw capsules. It is usually better to dissolve than chew the medication. Do not use more than two tablets, according to the leaflet that follows the pack. If you use more than two tablets, it may cause abdominal pain. Devil's Claw may make you feel dizzy or sleepy. If affected, do not drive or operate a piece of heavy machinery. Talk to your doctor if there is no significant improvement in your condition despite your regular drug use.

• Intestinal problems such as peptic ulcer disease or intestinal blockage;
• Kidney disease;
• Liver disease (including hepatitis B infection, and gall stones);

Tell your doctor about all the medications you use, including prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, herbal products, and vitamin supplements. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to get pregnant, or are breastfeeding. There is no enough information to conclude that this herbal medication is safe during pregnancy. Reach out to your doctor before breastfeeding while using Devil's Claw medicine.
