Eurax (Crotamiton) is a prescription anti-parasite medication that kills certain parasites that live or lay eggs in your skin. Crotamiton topical cream is used to treat scabies and to reduce itching caused by certain skin conditions. Scabies is caused by mites that burrow into the skin which leads to severe itching and small bumps or blisters filled with fluid or pus. Crotamiton belongs to two classes of drugs, scabicides and antipruritics. This medication works by killing the mites that cause scabies.
