Usage

Histofreezer Wart Treatment is an over-the-counter medication that provides a highly effective cryosurgical agent that provides safe and effective treatment for warts and other common benign skin lesions. The active constituent is a flammable cryogenic gas mixture that does not damage the skin layers. The Histofreezer dispenses liquid nitrous oxide (-89°C), the coldest portable cryogen, and clears warts and other skin lesions such as verrucae, skin tags, and seborrheic keratoses. It works by using local freezing for the controlled destruction or removal of living tissue.

The common side effects of Histofreezer Wart Treatment are painful and burning skin sensations.

Stop using Histofreezer Wart Treatment and contact your doctor right away if you have any of the serious side effects such as:
• Changes in skin colour (multiple areas of hypo and hyperpigmentation);

Warnings and Interactions

Histofreezer should be used by medically trained personnel. It would be best to know that the response to treatment depends on the size and location of the warts. Your doctor will apply the medication (liquid nitrogen) as the manufacturer directs. The affected area will be exposed properly. The applicator will be fixed to the canister, and the spray will be released on the affected skin areas. About 2ml is sprayed on the area, which will freeze for about 2 minutes. The droplets will not harm or burn the skin. Although, you may experience a painful or stinging sensation during the application. Your skin may appear white after application. You should experience some changes in your condition within 3 months of regular use. Keep the treated area clean, and do not scratch the affected skin. Do not lance any blister that may form. If blisters open, cover the area with a bandage. Contact your doctor if there are no changes in your warts.

Before you start using Histofreezer Wart Treatment, inform your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have:
• Children below 7 years;
• Cryoglobulinemia;
• Infected warts;
• kidney problems;
• Liver problems;
• Skin cancer

Tell your doctor about all your medications, including prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, herbal products, and vitamin supplements. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. It is important to treat warts to prevent further complications. It is unknown if Histofreezer Wart Treatment is safe in pregnancy. Discuss with your doctor for the best treatment plan. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. It is not known if Histofreezer Wart Treatment passes into your breast milk.
