Inspra Information

Inspra Details (Brand and Generic)

CanadaPharmacyOnline.com offers the brand Inspra from Canada by Upjohn and from the United Kingdom by Pfizer. The generic Eplerenone comes from India also called Eptus by Glenmark and from Canada by a different manufacturer. Our customers may also purchase other blood pressure medications such as Avalide and Cozaar.

Dosage

Inspra and the generic Eplerenone is available in the strength of 25 mg and 50 mg tablets.

Usage

Inspra (Eplerenone) is a prescription medication used along or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. This medication may also be used to lower the risk of death from heart failure after a heart attack. Eplerenone belongs to the class of medications called mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists. This medication works by blocking aldosterone in your body which in turn lowers the amount of sodium and water that is retained by your body. It's a diuretic that helps you lose excess salt and water through your pee. Lowering high blood pressure will help prevent strokes, heart attacks and kidney problems.

The common side effects of Inspra may include coughing, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, flu-like symptoms, and gynecomastia.Call your doctor right away if you have any of the serious side effects such as:
• High potassium;
• Fast or irregular heartbeats;
• Feeling light-headed;
• Little or no urination;
