Usage

Komboglyze (Saxagliptin/Metformin) is a prescription medication used to treat adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control. The active ingredients in Komboglyze are Saxagliptin and Metformin. These medications work together to lower the blood glucose. Metformin is a biguanide, and it works by decreasing glucose production in the liver and decreasing the absorption of glucose by the intestines.
