Usage
Lolo (Ethinyl Estradiol/Levonorgestrel) is a prescription birth control pill used for the prevention of pregnancy. This medication contains two hormones Norethindrone and Ethinyl Estradiol. It works by preventing ovulation during your menstrual cycle. It also thickens the vaginal fluid to help prevent sperm from reaching an egg and changes the lining of the uterus to prevent a fertilized egg from attaching. Lolo also contains a small amount of iron in the inactive tablets taken during the fourth week. The inactive tablets do not contain any hormones but are meant to keep you in the habit of taking one pill every day. It does not have enough iron to treat iron deficiency. Lolo may make your periods more regular, decrease blood loss and painful periods, decrease the risk of ovarian cysts and also treat acne.
