Usage

Rhinaris (Macrogol/Propylene Glycol) is an over-the-counter medication used to treat dryness and irritation inside the nose due to dry room air, colds, allergies, and other conditions can cause dryness and irritation of the nasal passages. Rhinaris adds moisture inside the nose to soften and dissolve thick mucus, making it easier to remove the mucus and preventing nosebleeds. The active ingredients in Rhinaris are Macrogol and Propylene Glycol. Macrogol is also known as polyethylene glycol, and it belongs to a class of medication called osmotic laxatives. Propylene Glycol belongs to the class of drugs called water-soluble alcohols. Macrogol and Propylene Glycol work together to moisturize and lubricate dry and stuffy noses.

Remove the nozzle from your nostril and roll your head backwards to allow the solution to spread over the back of your nose. Repeat for the other nostril. Wash the spray bottle tip with hot water and dry it with clean tissue after use. With clean hands, apply a small amount of the gel into each nostril every 4 hours. If the mist comes in a spray canister, keep it away from open flame or high heat. The canister may explode in high temperatures. Avoid getting Rhinaris nasal mist in your eyes. If this happens, rinse your eyes with plenty of water. Consult your doctor if irritation occurs.

• Have allergies
