Methocarbamol belongs to a class of drugs called skeletal muscle relaxants. It works by blocking nerve impulses sent to the brain. Acetaminophen belongs to a class of medications called analgesics and antipyretics. It works by blocking the production of enzymes in the brain to prevent the further transmission of pain nerve impulses.
