Usage

Viviant (Bazedoxifene) is a prescription medication used to treat and prevent osteoporosis associated with menopause. Osteoporosis is a condition where the bones weaken (are less dense), increasing their risk of breaking or fracturing more easily. Menopause causes a decrease in estrogen production, which leads to bone loss. The active ingredient in Viviant is Bazedoxifene. Bazedoxifene belongs to the class of medication called selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs). It works by reducing bone turnover to increase mineral bone density and prevent bone loss.
