Yaz is a birth control pill contains drospirenone and ehtinyl Estradiol which are two hormones that occur naturally in the body. Yaz is also prescribed to women to combat acne. Yaz works by preventing ovulation, and it also thickens the mucus in the cervix and thickens the uterus wall. We currently have brand Bayer Yaz 3 mg/0.02 mg (28 day) and generic Drospirenone/Ethinyl Estradiol (24 day) available in stock.

Yaz Side Effects

The possible Yaz side effects include:
• Breast pain or swelling;
• Changes in weight or appetite, swelling in hands and feet;
• Freckles, darkening of the facial skin, increased hair growth;
• Vaginal itching, discharge or changes to menstrual periods;

More serious side effects may include:
• Breast lump;
• Changes in migraine patterns;
• Chest pain, pain spreading to arm;
• Stompach pain, loss of appetite, jaundice, depression;

Yaz Safety in Pregnancy and Children
