Product Details

Inlyta is an anticancer medication that used to treat advanced kidney cancer (advanced renal cell carcinoma or RCC) when one prior drug treatment regimen for your RCC has not worked. Inlyta is a chemotherapy regimen for kidney cancer. The generic name for the active ingredient in Inlyta is Axitinib. It belongs to a class of drugs known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors that work by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. This medication disrupts cell communication to slow the growth of blood vessels that feed nutrients to cancer cells. Axitinib slows the growth of these blood vessels, which helps to reduce the size of tumours, which are collections of cancer cells.
