Maxidol LIQGEL (Naproxen Sodium) is an over-the-counter medication used to relieve symptoms of menstrual periods such as cramps, backache, muscle pain, and headache. Naproxen Sodium provides fast pain relief from period symptoms for up to 12 hours. The drug is also used to treat symptoms of inflammation, such as pain and fever, associated with conditions such as migraines, arthritis, minor surgery, common cold, and toothaches. The active ingredient in Maxidol LIQGEL is Naproxen Sodium. Naproxen Sodium belongs to the class of medication called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by stopping the production of prostaglandins, which cause inflammation, fever, and pain.
